PRESS RELEASE

Madison Business and Two Local Lions Honored for Innovative Collaboration to Support Dane County Children with Special Needs

McFarland Lions Jason Weber and Bryan Bazan were honored by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation’s Lions Pride Campaign on Tuesday Evening, June 12th at a special  meeting of the McFarland Lions and Lioness Clubs.  Jason and Bryan found a way to collaborate with their employer, Interlink Funding, LLC. of Madison, to facilitate a gift to the Lions Pride Endowment Fund.  Jason and Bryan’s innovating thinking combined with Interlink’s community orientation serves as a great example of how Wisconsin Lions work to serve their local communities.

The primary project of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation is Lions Camp, providing a week of camp for children who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, mild cognitively disabled, and children with type I & II diabetes.   Last summer 84 children from Dane County attended the camp, all at no cost to their families.
